Today I'm coming to you with six of the best finds from the Topshop new arrival section - and let me tell you, there will be no money left in anyone's wallets after this. 

There is clearly a new trend within Topshop's new pieces - the tortoiseshell buttons. The way that they are paired with the linen-esque fabric pays homage to an old timely classic. This microtrend makes everything look 1000x more expensive, bringing an air of sophistication and Topshop is definitely doing it right. 

I am also obsessing over the colour blocking trench coat - a perfect transitional piece from Winter to Spring, day to night and smart to casual. The pop of yellow, combines two trends (brights and a trench), making it the perfect twist on the classic piece. Add this for a vivid update to your wardrobe. In my opinion, this is total investment worthy.

On the other end of the spectrum, comes the leopard print bikini. I was never one for the animal print and always played it safe in the bikini department. Yet, why not spice it up with some print? This ribbed bikini is flattering with the combined scoop/square neckline.

      I love Topshop as they always keep up with the latest styles, and most pieces are so affordable for a current piece and what you're getting!
      (plus a cheeky student discount does go quite far!)

      So many people have said that they don't really shop in Topshop anymore, which surprises me! It's always my go-to shop for either a basic or a trend-cult piece!

    I love the linen and tortoiseshell button trend, it reminds me of the 50s. Topshop has never been a place I shop at as they're so expensive and I'm still scarred by the khaki parka jacket and joni jeans trend that they provided but they've been so editorial-esque and trend led with their clothes recently. The linen skirt and blazer co ord are so tempting!

      I always go to Topshop for some great quality jeans (don't worry not the Joni's - I admit I did like them back then - but never again!) and I love their basics and accessories. Definitely one to check out again.
