waterproof makeup part 2

MAYBELLINE, THE ROCKET WATERPROOF MASCARA // MAYBELLINE, COLOUR TATTOO 24HR CREAM EYESHADOW // REVLON, JUST BITTEN KISSABLE BALM STAIN // TOPSHOP, BLUSH STICK

In the summer what's not worst than just coming out of the pool with mascara running down your face, not a good look! Throughout the days in the summer you can sweat and even your makeup can slide off your face so these products are perfect for keeping your makeup in place all day long.

Waterproof Mascara:
In the heat of the summer sun, I still like my lashes to look curled and voluminous so to create this I recommend using a waterproof mascara. By using a waterproof mascara it will last all day long and not budge at all.

Cream Eyeshadows:
Cream eyeshadows are great because they last a lot longer than just normal, also they are easier to apply. You can either use this as a base for an eye shadow to make it more bold or just on it's own. They also blend super easily.

Lip Stain:
To add a pop of colour which will stay on when swimming, you can use a lip crayon/stain. They have great pigmentation as well as the lasting power.

Cream Blush:
We all like to have a rosy glow on our cheeks, so instead of using a powder blush which will just come off in an instant, I would use a cream blush.

As you can probably tell the best way to get waterproof makeup is to use cream products.

Hola everyone!

Yay, it's the Summer and that means holiday!
For two weeks I am going to be tanning in glorious Spain, so you're probably thinking no posts. However, luckily I have pre edited some posts which I am going to ask Charlotte to upload for me because there is no WiFi. At least now you won't be bored!

Whilst I'm away I will be taking lots of snaps of my outfits and just my holiday in general. So I hope you all have a very lovely start of the summer and remember to take lots of pictures like me.

What are you planning to do this summer?

BENEFIT MINI BAD GAL LASH MASCARA

Without mascara, my lashes are definitely not long or voluminous so it's probably the one makeup item I must have. Therefore, I am always hunting out for the perfect mascara and when I was able to pick up a free mini Benefit Bad Gal Lash mascara, I was so eager to try it out. I hadn't really heard any hype about this product, so I was a bit unsure whether this was going to work for me or not. This mascara is designed to add mega volume and length to the lashes - giving them a false lashes look. Their famously massive brush, coats your lashes with an amazing jet black formula.

This is a brilliant mascara for separating your lashes without any clumps but also giving them a slight curl - making the eyes appear brighter. The formula is quite wet when you first buy it but does get a lot more better after a month of use. After about seven hours of wear this mascara does loose its structure and slightly smudges - which is very annoying. This is definitely not a must buy but it does give an amazing false lash effect however if your looking for a long lasting mascara try out the waterproof version! A great day and night product which can be used for both top and bottom lashes.

Have you tried this mascara?

What's your favourite mascara?

Hey Guys,

I find it so hard to remember to moisturise my hands and lips before I go to bed, so I have started to keep some of my current, can't live without products near my bed. Which I just put on before I go to sleep or even when I'm in bed - those are the lazy days! Here are the products...

First up is the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Concentrated Hand Cream ,which I think will always be proudly sitting next to my bed. This is a mini size of the product and I will be definitely buying a full size one when it's all used up. I massage a dollop of this into my hands and wake up to the feeling of super soft hands.

To nourish my cuticles I have been loving the Boots Salon Cuticle and Nail Moisturiser. This just gets rid of any hangnails which I have and also makes my cuticles feel a lot more smooth and hydrated. This also smells so amazing! It is enriched with vitamin E, honey and grape seed oil. It is definitely worth it for the price!

Next up is my favourite spot treatment at the moment which is the, Freederm Spot Treatment Gel. I apply a very thin layer over any spots I have and rub it in. Then when I wake up my spot has likely gone down in redness and size. You only need the tiniest amount for the amazing wonders it does to your spots!

Lastly, to moisturise my lips overnight I tend to use the Carmex Cherry Lip Balm. I use this in the day time to, but I feel it does more magic to my lips when I am sleeping. It's the type of lip balm which gives that tingly sensation, which I think means it's working. The bonus side of this is that it smells of cherries!

So that's everything I've been loving to have on my bedside table! What do you keep on your bedside table?

EOS LIP BALM, SUMMER FRUITS
Hey Guys,

I realised I hadn't done a 'Worth The Hype?' post for quite a little while and you all seemed to like it so here is another one!

Ever since the EOS lip balms came out, I was dying to try one. There had been so much hype and commotion about how moisturising they are, from the blends of different oils that I thought they were bound to be amazing! The very intriguing packaging definitely drew me towards this lip balm as it's very unique but, it is quite annoying because it is a lot bigger than compared to other lip balms. The shape of the actual lip balm is also very different as it's domed. I was wondering - how is it going to keep it's shape in the heat? I tested this product out on a very hot day and kept checking it thinking that it would be just in a lump of goo, but surprisingly not!

The scent of this is unbelievable, it's amazing! The application of this lip balm is matte and does feel very smooth when on. However, I feel like after a few hours or so of wear my lips feel a little bit dry and chapped. Which is really annoying, but I usually just use this under another lip product as it has a matte finish to it. Also even better this lip balm is 100% natural and 95% organic!

So, is this worth the hype?
Kind of but kind of not, the EOS lip balm does look very nice on the lips but is sometimes a bit too drying. I will definitely use all the product, but if I had the chance to buy/get it again I would rather just choose plain old Vaseline.

You can find my other 'Worth The Hype? post here.
Have you tried the EOS?
What's your opinion on them?
